Graduate school brings a whole new level to our education; revealing to us a new level of stress, how important flexibility is, and opportunity to grow into our true identities. With the rigors of the graduate programs here at Eastern Washington University, graduate students need a representative with knowledge of these differences from the undergraduate experience. I will strive to keep our best interests in mind when decisions are made at the university level- especially regarding research, theses, dissertation and graduation dates.

It is my goal to learn as much as possible about the graduate degree and certificate programs at Eastern Washington University in order to represent them equitably. I want to attend to even the small issues that make for a better experience, but are too often lost in the shuffle. Another goal of mine is to foster opportunities towards creating a graduate community in Cheney and at Riverpoint. In the workforce we are often working in interdisciplinary teams or consulting other fields of study. The more we can interface and learn about what others can offer through their education, the more effective we can become in our careers.

I am an Occupational Therapy student attending most of my program at the Riverpoint campus and graduating in June. I am an avid soccer player and overall sports enthusiast - Go Eagles! I am a listener and helper by nature and love the feeling of accomplishing something to ease someone else's life. I truly believe that if you give someone the support they need to get an idea or project off the ground, improvement for all can occur. Lastly, I am not afraid to voice my opinion. I enjoy discussion, even contentious ones. There is a graceful way of representing students that allows for improvement on both sides of the discussion and I aim to do my best to make this happen.
