New Book Rental Program
Published: September 15, 2011
CHENEY, Wash. - The Eastern Washington University Bookstore, which serves more than 11,000 students at its Cheney and Riverpoint locations, is adopting BookRenter's leading platform for textbook rental and price comparison to help its students get the best deal in textbooks. Students can now use their phones to compare price options on textbooks and rent textbooks, both online and in the store, providing new levels of price confidence and convenience.
"It is part of our mission to provide affordable access to textbooks," said Bob Anderson, director of the EWU Bookstore. "With BookRenter, we can give our students better options on more of their textbooks, along with the local service that only the EWU Bookstore can offer."
The new program enhances the store's ability to serve students by giving them access to more than 800 textbook titles available for flexible rental periods with the convenience of in-store pickup or free shipping.
"We are really proud to be serving the students of Eastern Washington University," said Mehdi Maghsoodnia, CEO of BookRenter. "We look forward to a long partnership with the EWU Bookstore and to helping it continue to make educational materials more affordable and accessible to the students they serve."
Eastern students are encouraged to stop by either of the campus stores or visit www.bookstore.ewu.edu/ to find out more about the new ways to maximize their textbook dollars.
