Call For Abstracts
Published: March 01, 2011
CHENEY, Wash. - The official call for abstracts is out for the 14th annual Eastern Washington University Student Research and Creative Works Symposium, which will be held May 17-18, on the Cheney campus.
The Symposium showcases projects completed by undergraduate and graduate students after months of preparation with their faculty mentors. The symposium gives participants the chance to present their research - via writing, oral presentation, artistic display or poster presentatin - in a formal, professional setting.
Entries are due by April 15, and abstracts and creative works descriptions can be submitted on a link at the symposium website at http://access.ewu.edu/Symposium.
Last year, more than 345 students presented their research and creative works - including films, plays and musicals. The mission of the EWU Student Research and Creative Works Symposium is to promote student research, scholarship and creative activity done in partnership with faculty as a vital component of higher education. Students, faculty and administrators are invited to attend to hear and discuss undergraduate and graduate creative and scholarly work.
For more information on this year's symposium, please send emails to ewusymposium@ewu.edu or call 509.359.6826.
