Tutoring Services

The ASC is home to various student success programs and services.  Enrolled EWU students can participate in one of the Academic Success Center's PLUS services.   

PLUS tutors and facilitators are EWU students who have earned a 3.0 or higher GPA in the course they are tutoring/facilitating and have been recommended by a faculty member. All tutors and group facilitators employed by the ASC are required to attend regular tutor/facilitator training sessions certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) 

• PLUS Groups utilize collaborative learning groups linked to specific courses and faculty as a way to help students academically. 
• PLUS 1-on-1 tutoring services are available to students on a case by case basis for courses in which PLUS groups are not available. 
• PLUS e-Tutoring is an online tutor service, delivered via a dynamic, user-friendly tutoring platform.

Current EWU students can learn more about how to participate in one or more of these services through the PLUS Program at the Academic Success Center.
