Veteran Tuition Waivers
Below are detailed descriptions of the veteran tuition waivers offered at Eastern Washington University. For more information, applications or additional criteria, please contact the Veteran Services office.
Military Veterans
Waivers may be granted to all categories of military veterans. Students must be Washington resident, full-time, first degree undergraduates. The waiver is for $3,030 per year and may be renewed for subsequent years through completion of the first undergraduate degree. Unlike the Veteran's Spouse and Dependent Waivers, self-support and summer tuition cannot be waived. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Veteran Services office in the Records and Registration office and must be submitted annually.
Veteran's Spouse and Dependents
Waivers may be granted to the spouse and dependents of qualifying veterans within certain limitations. Students must be Washington resident, full or part-time, first degree undergraduates. The waiver is for tuition and course fees, including self-support and summer tuition, but does not cover any mandatory fees. Eligibility is limited to 200 attempted credits, including all accepted transfer credits. Applications and additional details can be obtained by contacting the Veteran Services office in the Records and Registration office. The application must be submitted annually.
