Minor in Technical Communication
A minor in technical communication enables students to add valuable skills to their present field or discipline. For example, students majoring in sciences or technology may want to add a writing component to their degree to increase job opportunities upon graduation.

Required Courses (20 credits)
ENGL 205 Introduction to Technical Communication (5)
ENGL 305 Professional Communication (5)
ENGL 404 Software Documentation (5)
ENGL 407 Proposal Writing (5)
Elective-one 300 or 400-level English course (4-5 credits)
Select in consultation with technical communication faculty.
Note: the prerequisite for ENGL 205 is ENGL 201. Students transferring to Eastern Washington University may need to take ENGL 201.
