If you love to curl up with a good novel or enjoy your morning coffee with the daily paper; if you rush to the phone the day theatre tickets go on sale or take a night out on the town for a symphony concert; if you have rafted a river or had an ankle taped following a sports injury; if you know something of these things, then you know something of the EWU College of Arts, Letters, and Education. 

Students who study and faculty who teach in our programs are writers, journalists, theater professionals, musicians, health and wellness coaches, athletic trainers, filmmakers, linguists, outdoor recreation specialists, philosophers, and public school teachers. 

CALE is where students learn that what you love and what you do can be one in the same.
