Beth Tipton, Ph. D.
Interim Dean and Interim Associate Dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, Chair of Accounting and Information Systems Department

Welcome to the College of Business and Public Administration at Eastern Washington University!

To our prospective students, we encourage you to look seriously at the state-of-the-art programs we offer.  The College's programs in business and urban planning are accredited by the premiere accrediting associations.  The business programs are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.  Only 15% of programs world-wide and 30% of programs nationally are AACSB accredited.  Our Urban and Regional Planning programs are accredited by PAB - The Planning Accreditation Board.  Recently the PAB and AACSB renewed our accreditation for four and six years respectively.  These reaffirmations of accreditation attest to the value of our programs and are your assurance that the programs meet the highest standards of quality.

Undergraduates have full access to three location choices:  our residential campus in Cheney, the downtown Spokane campus at Riverpoint, or our general business program on the Bellevue College campus in the Puget Sound area.  The Riverpoint campus offers many exciting connections to the urban development and economic vitality of the greater Spokane region.  The Cheney campus offers all the benefits of a residential campus with a wide variety of services and activities.  The Bellevue campus is a limited purpose program specifically located to serve the Puget Sound area.  All students at each of the three locations students have the opportunity to gain experience through internships with businesses, government and not-for-profit agencies through the region.

Our graduate programs in business (MBA), public administration (MPA), and urban and regional planning (MURP), and the certificate program in health services administration are designed to meet the needs of working professionals.  Classes meet in the evening and weekends at our Riverpoint campus.

I invite you to consider enrolling at Eastern Washington University.  We are committed to your success.
