Economics Minor
The Department of Economics offers two ways to get a minor in economics, which are available to all students except those majoring in economics. Each method requires students to take a total of 20 credits of economics courses.
The traditional minor requires the two 200-level introductory courses and any two upper-division electives.
Students can also complete the 100-level general education course and three upper-division courses from a list of six courses.

Option A:
Required Economics Minor Courses (10 credits)
ECON 200 Introduction to Microeconomics (5)
ECON 201 Introduction to Macroeconomics (5)
Electives (10 credits)
Select electives from the approved list in consultation with your faculty advisor.
Option B:
Required General Education Economics Minor Courses (5 credits)

Electives (15 credits)
