The Riverpoint Campus is located just east of downtown Spokane next to the beautiful Spokane River and the Centennial Trail. Just minutes from I-90 and from downtown, the Riverpoint Campus offers a convenient location in the heart of Washington's second largest city.

Eastern Washington University students at the Riverpoint Campus have convenient access to nearby dining, shopping and arts and entertainment. In addition, the Spokane area offers ample recreation opportunities with local skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, golf and more.

Phase I Building:

Dedicated in 1996, the Phase I Classroom Building houses the Eastern Washington University College of Business and Public Administration. The Building is 119,600 square feet and contains a 205 seat auditorium, university classrooms, faculty and staff office space and EWU's Riverpoint Campus Computer Lab.

An ATM is located in the first floor lobby of the Phase I Classroom Building, provided by Credit Union Alliance (STCU).

On campus, Aracelia's Coffee Bar has locations on the first floors of the Academic Center, the Phase I Classroom Building, and the Health Sciences Building, with full espresso bar and a variety of snack and lunch items. Hours of operation vary depending on class schedules, but are generally Monday -Thursday 7:30 a.m. -7:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.

 

Bookstore:

Library:

The Riverpoint Campus Library is a shared library between Eastern Washington University and Washington State University. It is located on the second and third floors of the Academic Center. The library provides access to numerous full-text periodical indices, more than 4,000 on-line databases for PC users, a journal collection of more than 400, and a small circulating and reference collection. EWU students may borrow WSU books and vice versa. However, loan periods will vary, depending upon the affiliation of the borrower and the ownership of the book. Professional reference librarians provide support for academic programs located on the Riverpoint campus.

WSU and EWU and students, faculty and staff at the Riverpoint Campus may request books from the JFK Library in Cheney and the WSU libraries in Pullman, Tri Cities and Vancouver using WSU's Griffin catalog and EWU's library catalog, and may request books from 26 academic libraries in Washington and Oregon through SUMMIT. EWU and WSU faculty, staff and students who have registered with ILLiad may request books through Interlibrary Loan and free copies of periodical articles. Books and periodical articles requested from WSU and EWU libraries are usually ready to pick up at the Riverpoint Campus Library within three days. Books requested through SUMMIT usually arrive within five business days or less.

Riverpoint EWU Computer Lab:

The Riverpoint Computer Lab is located on the second floor of the Phase I Classroom Building in RVPT 207. For student's convenience they offer:

  • 58 Pentium Computers
  • 2 Multimedia Authoring Stations with scanners
  • 2 Black/White HP Printers
  • 1 HP 8550 Color Printer

Hours of operation:

  • Monday - Thursday: 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
  • Friday: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
  • Saturday - Sunday: 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

 

Parking:

Parking permits or parking meter payments are required for on campus parking all day, all hours. There are several parking payment options and you are encouraged to visit the Parking Operations office in the South Campus Facility for details on parking zones and parking regulations. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.- noon. Or call 368-6999, e-mail or visit WSU Parking Services online.
