PeaceTrees Vietnam (PTVN) is a Non-government Organization (NGO) based on Bainbridge Island that works in the former DMZ in central Vietnam, near Khe Sanh and the Lao border. They manage a variety of programs, most significantly micro-credit, reforestation, and the removal of Unexploded Ordinances (UXO) such as cluster bombs and 'bouncing betties.' Blair will be introducing the work and mission of PTVN.
