She says, "Welcome to History Correspondence, where the primary goal is to provide students with a rich, balanced and thought-provoking treatment of the history of mankind." Students will be encouraged to seek connections among many factors: Political, economic, technological, social, religion and intellectual history. Students will also be encouraged to think about how we all inherited a complex past filled with both notable achievements and failures. Students should understand that historians are continually reinterpreting the past based on the discovery of new evidence. It is expected that when students finish the course work they will have a better understanding of their present world.
