Dr. Judd Case, who began his term as Dean of the College of Science, Health and Engineering in 2006, brings a background of discovery and adventure with him to his new post. Case, an accomplished biologist, was one of a team of scientists who discovered the fossilized bones of a previously unknown carnivorous dinosaur in Antarctica.

Dr. Christian Hansen is head of the School of Computing and Engineering Sciences. He has been with EWU since 1993 and served previously as chair of the Department of Mathematics (2001-2009). He brings to this position more than 20 years experience in a variety of engineering applications, including reliability modeling and failure data analysis for complex electronic systems. He is a graduate of the Technical University of Denmark with degrees in Electrical Engineering (MS, 1988) and Statistics (PhD, 1991).

Dr. Byron Russell is head of the health science programs offered at EWU's Riverpoint Campus in Spokane. His holds tenure in the Department of Physical Therapy and served as their department chair prior to assuming his current position. He received his doctor of philosophy (physical therapy) from Texas Woman's University, Houston Texas.
