Minors: Biology, Health Sciences, Secondary Education, General Science Endorsement
The Department of Biology offers the following minors and endorsements:
- The Biology Minor requires 36-37 credits. It does not meet the endorsement requirements for teachers.
- The Health Sciences Minor requires 30 credits.
- The Biology/Secondary Minor requires 45 credits. This minor satisfies the endorsement for grades 5-12.
- The General Science Endorsement requires 65 credits. This minor is designed to help students improve their marketability as science teachers by completing this minor in addition to their BAE in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science or Physics. This add-on satisfies the general sciences endorsement, and allows teachers to teach any science grades 5-12.
