 All operations remain normal at both Cheney and Riverpont campuses. 

Remember, during inclement weather or in the event of a public safety situation on campus, please call 359.SNOW (7669) or come to this web page (ewu.edu/emergency) for the latest information. Also, follow us on Twitter @EWUNews, on Facebook or sign up for EWU Alerts.

Sometimes we face class cancellations due to weather conditions or there are other potential emergency situations that may require quick response and immediate communication.

Please consider signing up for the EWU Alert system to receive instant text messages on your cell phone and e-mails during an emergency situation. Go to EWU's home web page or campus safety page to learn more and sign up for this service.

The EWU Snow Line - 509.359.SNOW contains a recorded message that is updated around the clock, as needed, during any emergency, and you are directed to that number for the latest information.

Regional news media are always informed by an official University spokesperson about emergency situations. Please check your local TV or radio station as well.

We make every effort to send all-campus e-mails to faculty and staff, as well as to students who supply us with their e-mail addresses, in the rare case of an emergency situation. Also check our website: ewu.edu.

Campus safety information for students at the Riverpoint Campus is available at spokane.wsu.edu/campusalert. EWU will provide updates here and through our message systems as they relate to the operation of EWU programs at Riverpoint.
