| Quarter | Annual | |

The transportation fee went into effect in winter 2008. This fee helps to subsidize ridership by EWU community members on Spokane Transit Authority (STA) buses during the regular academic year from late September through mid-June. Anyone with an EWU Eagle Card may ride buses for free during this period simply by swiping the card upon boarding a bus on any route. STA offers regular service to and from the EWU main campus, Cheney, Spokane and the Riverpoint campus.
The recreation center fee went into effect in spring 2008. This fee was approved by a student vote as the student contribution to pay for construction of the new University Recreation Center.
