Graduation Application

Graduate students must submit a graduation application to the Graduate Studies Office by the second Friday of the quarter before their quarter of degree completion, with the application fee. The late fee will be charged in addition to the standard fee if the application is accepted late. The form is available here:

Or you can now apply to graduate online through EagleNet.  Log in to EagleNet, click on the "Student" tab, and then click on "Student Records."

Due Date

The graduation application is due by the second Friday of the quarter before the quarter of expected degree completion. So for spring graduation, applications are due in mid-January. Students graduating in a summer quarter who wish to have their names included in that year's commencement bulletin must apply by the deadline for spring quarter.

Fees

Graduation Application Fee: $37.17 (effective July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012)
Late Fee: $12.00 (effective July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012)

If program completion is delayed until the next quarter, the student must wait to take the final comprehensive examination in the final quarter.

Students who have passed the final comprehensive examination but still have not satisfied outstanding degree requirements two weeks after the end of the quarter will be moved to the next quarter for graduation. Any students with outstanding degree requirements not completed by the end of the quarter after the quarter in which they passed the comprehensive exam will be assessed a late completion fee equivalent to tuition for half of a resident graduate credit.
