EWU Libraries

The EWU Libraries hosts a variety of events each year.  In addition, the JFK Memorial Library is available to the University community for poster displays, presentations, books signings, class functions and so on.  By filling out the Request Form for Event or Display you have access to not only the physical building, but also the services of the administrative office to help you ensure your event is a success.  If you have questions please contact the Dean's Administration Office at (509) 359-2264 or ewuliboffice@ewu.edu.

You can also download the form (Word version or PDF version) to Request Event or Display in JFK Library, fill it out, and send it to the JFK Library at 100 LIB, or drop it by the Dean's Administration Office in U02.

Annual Fundraiser

The EWU Libraries holds an annual Oktoberfest fundraiser that is not the "traditional" Oktoberfest.  Each year the Oktoberfest "secondary" theme is changed.  The 2011 Oktoberfest was Oktoberfest Casino Royale; 2010 Oktoberfest, Galaxy Quest; 2009 ROktoberfest, Rockin' the Library; and so on.  The event includes a full meal, live music and entertainment, beer and wine tasting, and the main focus is always a live and silent auction.  With a little help from our friends, we were able to deposit over $30,000 net into the EWU Libraries' Collection Endowment Fund as a result of the event.
