Residential Life

After choosing to attend Eastern, one of the most important decisions you'll make is where you will live. Will it be Spokane or Cheney? On or off campus? Residence hall or apartment? You'll consider cost, convenience, commute time, study demands, employment opportunities and social life. With accommodations for over 2,000 students, lots of recreational choices, and a network of support, you’re likely to find that living on campus offers you all you need to have the real college experience you hope for.

The bottom line is that students who live on campus for one full year are more likely to feel connected, stay in school and persist to graduation. Take a moment to consider what you want your college experience to be, and how living on campus your first year might help you achieve that. Welcome to Life at EWU!

Support your COMMITMENT to college! Live on campus for the COMPLETE experience!

Dining Services

Dining Services is a valuable partner in the daily life of the university community. We demonstrate through our operations the university's commitment to a high quality, student centered learning environment focusing on product quality and service, by providing freshly prepared, quality food that offers good value in convenient locations. Dining Services maintains nine campus locations for food and beverage services.

Tawanka Bakery & Bistro and the Main Street Dining are in Tawanka Commons. In the campus recreation center Dining operates "The Roost," a state-of-the-art display cooking restaurant. A first-class catering operation and mobile espresso service round out EWU's Dining operations.

Through these locations, Dining Services provides a great variety of appetizing and nutritional choices to our diverse student body, at reasonable prices. Dining Services is focusing on our environment and increasing our use of organic and all natural products in our menus.
