Quarters

Quarters at Eastern begin in late September (fall), the first week of January (winter), the first week of April (spring), and in mid/late June (summer)

Summer quarter is generally eight weeks long, however, please check with the course announcement to determine start dates for any courses you are interested in.

FirstSTEP and Enrollment

FirstSTEP is a required summer academic orientation for incoming freshman (including previous running start students) who have confirmed their intent to enroll for the Fall quarter.

Student who attend FirstSTEP in the summer prior to fall quarter, will meet with an advisor and register for classes on that date.

Transfer Student Orientation and Enrollment

Students transferring to Eastern will participate in our EWU New Student Online Orientation. Once this is complete, all new students need to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes.
