Stacey Morgan Foster joined the EWU team in 2010 as the Vice President for Student Affairs, with more than 25 years of experience in higher education. Previously, she served as the VP at California State University, Stanislaus. She also has held leadership positions at San José State University and The American University. She has a BA in English with a Secondary Teaching Credential (CSU Sacramento) and a JD (George Mason University School of Law). Foster is a committed mentor to emerging student leaders and particularly interested in developing ethical decision-making skills among students. She and her husband enjoy raising much of their own food on their small farm. They have two children: a married daughter who is an Army officer and a son in college.

Virginia "Gini" Hinch serves as Assistant Vice President for Student Services and Executive Director for Career Development. She has worked extensively with internships and volunteering as one of the instructors of the career development course, CRSV 210. Gini earned a Master's of Education in Adult Education in 2007.

Amy Johnson is the Associate Vice President for Student Life and the Dean of Students. She has worked in higher education for more than 15 years as an administrator and faculty member, actively advising, teaching, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students throughout her career. Prior to joining EWU, Johnson served in leadership roles at the University of Southern California (where she held a joint faculty appointment in the Rossier School of Education) and the University of Pennsylvania (Penn). Her academic and research interests include living-learning environments (primarily residential colleges), distance education and creative uses of technology to facilitate learning and deliver services, and students' transition to college. She holds master's and doctoral degrees in higher education from Penn and a bachelor's degree in English/communication from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA.

Neil Woolf is a proud Eastern alum (BA Government, '01) and joined the Student Affairs team as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management in August 2013. Neil has experience in higher education both at the state and institutional levels working to improve student access and success. Dr. Woolf also holds a master's in public administration from the University of Utah and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Outside of work, Dr. Woolf spends time with his family participating in many of the great outdoor activities that Spokane offers.

Angela Anderson joined the EWU team as the Registrar for Records and Registration in December 2015. She has a master's in organizational leadership and a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business from Fort Hays State University. Angie has over 12 years of experience in higher education including the areas of registration, admissions, financial aid and human resources. She enjoys watching football with her family and all of the activities Spokane has to offer.

Samantha Armstrong Ash serves as the Associate Director of Student Activities Involvement and Leadership. In her ninth year as a student affairs administrator and fourth year at Eastern Washington University, Samantha specializes in student involvement, leadership development, and sorority/fraternity life. In her work, Samantha has seen firsthand how co-curricular involvement and student engagement outside of the classroom enhances the cognitive and affective development of students while in college. Samantha holds a Ph.D. in higher education and leadership from Washington State University, an M.Ed. in student affairs administration from Western Washington University, a B.A. in business administration from Idaho State University, and a B.A. in secondary education, history emphasis, from Idaho State University.

Josh Ashcroft serves as the Chief Housing Officer for Housing and Residential Life. Josh has been employed with EWU since 2007 and has had the privilege of working in Admissions, Student Activities, and Housing and Residential Life. He holds a Master's of Education in College Student Services Administration (Oregon State) and a bachelor's in Communication Studies (EWU). Outside of work he enjoys fishing, spending time with family and coaching his kids' sports teams.

Boubacar Bouaré serves as Assistant Director of Operations in the office of Undergraduate Admissions. He has been employed at Eastern Washington University since 2007 within different roles (including Immigration Officer and International Admissions Advisor) under the International Students Programs. Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Admissions Advisor in the office of Undergraduate Admissions. Boubacar joined EWU after residing in Chambery, France where he received both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Social and Economic Administration from the University of Savoie. He loves discovering and interacting with cultures from around the world, either through international travels or via the many opportunities available at the University. He is also very passionate about music production technology.

Mike Bowers serves as the Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities. Mike has worked at EWU since 2010, previously for Housing and Residential Life, before moving to SRR in 2014. Originally from North Carolina, his previous experiences include: housing, student activities, orientation, service learning and leadership programs. Mike holds a master's degree in counselor education from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree in mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Mike Campitelli has served as the Director for Campus Recreation since 2006. Since then, Campus Recreation (CRec) has grown to include Club Sport Federation and EPIC Adventures. Mike earned his bachelor's in Recreation Management and a masters in Sports Administration, both from EWU. In his off time Mike enjoys gardening, golfing and fishing.

Nate Bryant joined the Career Services team in February 2015 and serves as the Employer Relations Manager. He began his professional career in the U.S. Air Force, serving 7 years as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller before moving back to his home state of Michigan and attending Western Michigan University. Shortly after earning a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Nate left the bleak state of Michigan for greener pastures in the State of Washington, accepting a position in the Spokane VA Medical Center Human Resources office. This position was the perfect stepping stone before starting something bigger and becoming an Eag! Nate served as an HR Assistant at EWU for just over two years while studying to earn his Master of Science in Communication in 2015 from EWU. Ever the Eag, Nate transitioned to Career Services and now helps EWU solidify itself as a premier educational institution for the Inland Northwest.

Shauna Coleman joined the EWU team in 2016 and serves as the Director for Budget and Administrative Services. Shauna has a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Quality along with an undergraduate degree in Sociology earned at Whitman College. She has over 15 years of leadership experience in the not for profit arena and brings with her a diverse skill set and a servant leadership mentality.

Bruce DeFrates has worked in the financial aid profession since 1980 and has been the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships at EWU since 1999. He has also worked as a financial consultant and a pension administrator. He enjoys the challenges of financial aid and student employment administration and continues to be gratified by the knowledge that he and his staff are helping students on a daily basis to obtain their educational goals. Bruce has a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, a master's degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel from Minnesota State University - Mankato, and an MBA from Gonzaga University.

Shannon Flynn joined the EWU team in 1994 and currently serves as the Associate Director for Financial Aid and Scholarships. She enjoys the ever changing and complex nature of the financial aid industry. She strives to assist students in achieving their educational goals. Shannon is a first generation college graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in General Management and Human Resource Management in 1999 from EWU. Keeping the Eagle tradition alive, she is also the proud parent of a EWU graduate. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends and supporting Eagle Athletics.

Debbie Fockler serves as the Associate Registrar in Records and Registration. She is in her 41st year at Eastern and 39th year in Records and Registration. Debbie oversees the catalog, course management, classroom scheduling, graduation and transfer evaluation processes and assists in the coordination of commencement. Her leisure activities include reading, traveling, cooking, collecting recipes and spending time with her three children and grandchildren

Nick Franco began in his role as the Pride Center Manager in October 2015. Much of Nick's practice is informed by his knowledge of intersectional feminism and activism, leadership theory and practice, humble inquiry, and a deep passion for social justice and equity. Nick earned his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego, where his dissertation research explored the minority resource eligibility of multiracial college students with one white parent and one parent of color. He received a master's degree in women's studies from San Diego State University and a bachelor's degree in social work and women's studies from California State University, Sacramento. Originally from Stockton, CA, Nick enjoys playing tennis competitively, watching horror films, and finding the best local doughnut shops.

Michelle Helmerick serves as the manager of Student Support and Advocacy. She assists students in crisis and helps students and their families navigate the resources available at EWU. She has worked in the Dean of Students office since 2005, mentoring and advising students, managing student cases, designing/coordinating special projects, and providing executive support to the Dean. Prior to this experience, she served at the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau in Boulder, Colorado as its Executive Director. She has a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Wyoming. When not on campus, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and college-age son exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Kevin Hills serves as the Director for Disability Support Services, with approximately 16 years of professional experience in disability services at Eastern. He holds two degrees from EWU: a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Social Work. Kevin enjoys guest lecturing in classes across many disciplines and has taught courses in Psychology. He was instrumental in the creation of the EWU Veterans Resource Center and is a proud member of the American Legion, where he holds the position of Service Officer with the local Cheney post 72. Kevin is in his 2nd term as member of the Spokane County Accessible Communities Advisory Committee.

Robbyn Hoffman serves as the Associate Director of Career Services. She has been employed at Eastern Washington University since 2007. Robbyn has worked in higher education for over twelve years, holding a variety of positions supporting student success at several institutions, including a community college in rural Thailand. She earned her B.A. in Social Psychology from Western Michigan University and her M.A. in Post-Secondary Counseling from Seattle University. When she is not working, she enjoys: hiking, yoga, and international travel.

Tricia Hughes serves as the director for Health, Wellness and Prevention Services. She is passionate about supporting students with their personal health and wellness. She has lived in Cheney for the past 15 years and can be seen around town with her husband and two daughters.

Jana Jaraysi serves as the Associate Director of Admissions. She has been employed at Eastern Washington University since 2008. She graduated from Eastern in 2006 with a bachelor's in business administration and in 2008 with a master's in business administration and public administration. Her experience and education led to a natural career in Admissions, wanting other students to experience the greatness of being an Eastern Eagle.

Kevin Klim currently serves EPIC Adventures as the Interim Associate Director of Outdoor Programs . Prior to his new position, he served as the Climbing Wall Manager at the University Recreation Center for eight years. Kevin earned his Bachelors degree in Outdoor Recreation from EWU in 2008. He developed his leadership skills while leading various non-profit programs and organizations, including the Inland Northwest Search and Rescue, and assisted in the development of a mountain rescue team within that organization. Originally from Connecticut, he is the father of two and spends his free time gardening, hiking, mountaineering and playing chess.

Jens Larson joined EWU in 2011 and specializes in marketing and recruitment communication strategy for Enrollment Services. Before EWU, he performed investment analysis, developed product launch strategies, and developed and analyzed digital and print marketing campaigns. He's written about higher education websites and practices for the Chronicle of Higher Education and leading industry blogs. He maintains the website U of Admissions Marketing, one of the Top 50 Higher Ed Tech blogs. He' studied at five universities, including one in Germany, and holds BA (German and English honors), MFA (writing), and MA (English) degrees. He's currently pursuing a PhD in communication that explores the intersection of technology, social influence and communication strategies in higher education.

Nikki Measor joined EWU as the Director of EWU Spokane Student Services on the Spokane campus in January 2015. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics-Secondary Education from the University of California, San Diego, she went on to pursue her true passion of student development at Indiana University, Bloomington where she earned a Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. She has over ten years of professional experiences in student services spanning the areas of residential life, academic advising, and student success and retention programs. Nikki loves food, spending time with family and exploring issues of identity.

Dave Millet has worked at EWU since 2005 and currently serves as the Director for the Veterans Resource Center. He spent 25 years on active duty in the U.S. Army ending his career as Chair of the Military Science Department at EWU. Dave is a graduate of Seattle University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology and later received a master's in human resource management from Troy University. Dave is married with three children and enjoys outdoor activities and reading non-fiction.

Dr. Rob Quackenbush has been employed with EWU since 1990, first as training coordinator at Counseling and Psychological Services, and then as Director of CAPS for the past twelve years. He completed his master's degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Washington University in 1983, and his doctorate in counseling psychology from Washington State University in 1987.

Stacey Reece serves as the director of Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership (SAIL). She began her career at EWU in 2001 as the advisor for Student Organizations. From February 2004 to June 2013, she served as the director for Student Rights and Responsibilities. Stacey is an EWU graduate, earning a bachelor's degree in education in 1999 and a masters degree in science, focusing on organizational communication and student development in 2012.

Victor Rodríguez serves as the manager for New Student Transitions and Parent Programs. He began his career at EWU in 2007 and has served in Higher Education for over 15 years . He has worked extensively with the transition and orientation of community college and university students and parents and has been actively involved in the mentorship of undergraduate students and advising of student organizations. Victor holds a BA in Government from EWU and was a two year recipient of the EWU Student Affairs Undergraduate Student Fellowship.

Michelle Schultz serves as the Director of Apartments with Housing and Residential Life. Michelle has over 8 years of experience in working in Housing at both EWU and at Arizona State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English in 2005 and her Master of Arts in English Literature in 2008 both from Eastern Washington University. Michelle is a proud EWU alum who is incredibly excited about the life changing opportunities that our university provides to students. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, playing volleyball, watching EWU Football, and participating in as many local events as possible.

Anthony Silecchia joined EWU in May 2016 as the Assistant Registrar for Records and Registration. He collaborates on registration and records issues, and oversees residency determinations. He enjoys utilizing technology to simplify and optimize enrollment processes. Before coming to Eastern, he served as the Records & Systems Assistant and Commencement Coordinator at Whitworth University and the Records Specialist at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, and enjoys running, learning how things work, and the word "grace."

Cathy Sleeth joined the EWU team in July 2015 as the Director of Admissions. She has worked in higher education for over twenty years as an adjunct professor, an academic advisor, and held various positions in admissions. Prior to joining EWU, she was the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Cathy firmly believes in the benefits of a quality higher education experience and enjoys "spending my professional life talking with seventeen year olds about the value of a quality education." Cathy holds a master's degree from The Naval War College in Newport, RI, and a bachelor's degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. She and her husband (Pat) enjoy spending time with their daughter and son-in-law (Heather and Trent) and their two granddaughters (Sophia and Claire). Cathy and her entire family are passionate about the outdoors and are "hooked" on fly fishing. They can be found on various trout streams around the United States whenever they can get away.

Kandi Teeters serves as the Associate Director for Financial Aid and Scholarships. She has been part of the EWU community for over 20 years. She started her journey with EWU Admissions as a student employee in the early 1990's while working on a BS in Public Relations. She returned to EWU as a full time employee in 1997, after completing her EWU MBA in 1999. During her 16 years of service at EWU, she has spent much of her time helping students make their college dream a reality through scholarships and other financial aid opportunities.
