EWU College of Social & Behavioral Sciences and Social Work
Dr. Majid Sharifi, Department of Government and International Affairs, will present a lecture based on his recent book, Imagining Iran: the Tragedy of Subaltern Nationalism. Sharifi demonstrates how the struggle to make Iran into a nation-state in the image of imperial powers while rejecting imperialism, resulted in a violent cycle of regimes failure.
- Lunch will be provided.
