Confirm Your Enrollment

What You’ll Need

  • Your Username (found at the top of your acceptance letter and in a series of emails you received).
  • A credit or debit card to pay your new student enrollment fee.

Where to Start

  1. Visit your admissions status page.
  2. Select view update to view your decision letter.
  3. Select the “Next Step: Complete Your Enrollment” button.
  4. Complete the “Confirm Your Enrollment” form.
  5. Pay the enrollment fee in the Payment Due section on your admissions status page.

What You Should Know

  • Complete your online form and submit your enrollment fee.
  • Once we receive your enrollment fee, you’ll begin to receive more information from various offices about orientation and getting your classes.

Set Your Username Password

What You’ll Need

  • Your Username and EWUID number (found at the top of your acceptance letter and in a series of emails you received).
  • Your personal information, including the name used on your admissions application (usually your full legal name) and your date of birth.

Where to Start

  1. Visit ewu.edu/accounts.
  2. Click the “Activate Account” button.
  3. Follow the posted directions to activate your EWU account. Use your Username and EWUID number.

What You Should Know

  • When you’re done with this step, make sure to remember your username and password! It will be used to register for classes, access online courses, update your information and more.

Complete Your Financial Aid

What You’ll Need

  • Additional information may be requested after filing your FAFSA (or WASFA). Watch your email for next steps.
  • Once your aid file is completed and reviewed, you will be sent an offer via email and US mail. You’ll be directed to inside.ewu.edu to review details and accept your offer.

Where to Start

  1. Visit ewu.edu/acceptaid for step-by-step instructions to accept your aid.

What You Should Know

  • Financial aid awards generally arrive in early March.
  • Respond quickly to finalize your offer.
  • After 30 days, your offer may become inactive or canceled.
  • If you missed the Feb. 1 deadline for financial aid, you still have options. Visit ewu.edu/financialaid to learn more.

Learn About New Student Orientation

What You’ll Need

  • Confirmation that you’re attending EWU (see step 1).
  • Your Username and password (see Step 2).

  1. Check your personal email for instructions and invitation to EWU’s New Student Orientation.
  2. Visit ewu.edu/orientation for information and updates about orientation programs.

What You Should Know

  • All incoming students are invited to participate in New Student Orientation and Welcome Week.
  • The orientation process is run entirely through Orientation & Family Programming. All the information you need appears on their website.

How to Get Your Classes

What You’ll Need

  • Step 1 and Step 2 have to be complete!
  • Your Username (found at the top of your acceptance letter).
  • Time to schedule an appointment (Zoom and phone appointments available).
  • Your unofficial transcript(s).
  • Your Math Placement scores: inside.ewu.edu/newstudentadvising.

Where to Start

  1. Check your email in early spring for your academic advising instructions.
  2. Visit inside.ewu.edu/advising for complete information about academic advising.

What You Should Know

  • The advising process is run entirely through the Center for Academic Advising & Retention. All the information you need appears on their website.

Submit Your Final, Official Transcripts

What You’ll Need

  • Final, official transcripts from any colleges and the last high school you attended.
    • Make sure your official high school transcript has your graduation date on it.

Where to Start

  1. Mail final official transcripts to the Office of Admissions:

What You Should Know

  • EWU uses your final, official transcripts to evaluate your maximum available financial aid or give you credit for the classes you’ve taken.
  • Your final, official transcript should have your graduation date on it.
    • For transfer students, send us your official transcript that includes your most recent credits.
  • You will not receive applicable college credit for any AP and IB courses until EWU receives your official test scores.
  • If you don’t submit final, official transcripts, you can’t register for classes.

What You Should Know

  • All students are required to meet vaccination requirements.
