Two by Two: small-scale ceramic sculpture biennial

The Two by Two: small-scale ceramic sculpture biennial is open to all artists eighteen years of age and older. Artworks must be original, completed within the last three years, and not have been previously exhibited at Eastern Washington University.
Jae Won Lee received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Fine Arts from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Lee has exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions including twenty solo exhibitions. Recent solo exhibitions include: Beyond Mountains at C2 Gallery in Jingdezhen, China, Internal Distance(s) at the Oakland University Art Gallery in Rochester, Michigan, In the Shadow of the Moon at Paul Kotula Projects in Detroit, Michigan, and Of a Moon Garden III at the Korean Craft Promotion Foundation in Seoul, Korea. Lee has completed numerous residencies and her work is included in more than twenty collections. Recent visiting artist or artist in residence programs include: Beijing University in China, City Design School, Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China, Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan, Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, Maine, Pottery Workshop in Shanghai, China, and Chung Nam National University in Deajeon, Korea. Lee is currently an Associate Professor at Michigan State University. www.jaewonlee.net
