  • Colin Johnson (B.A. 2008) works at Image Comics in San Francisco, CA where they are currently developing the transmedia graphic novel Daomu.
  • Jeff Opdyke (B.A. 2010) works at Kostov Productions in Monroe, WA.  He was editor/mixer on "Maggie the Brave" an independent film produced by Writer/Director Suzanne Kelman in Langley, WA.
  • Bryce Woodworth (B.A. 2007) is a graduate student in the University of Southern California Masters program in Film and Television Production.
  • Austin Regimbal (B.A. 2008) now serves as intern for the Spokane International Film Festival.  
  • Adam Boyd (B.A. 2006) placed Morning on Maple Street as a finalist for the 2008 HD Fest, a festival recognizing short and feature films shot in High Definition format. Maple Street will screen at either the New York event in October or the Los Angeles event in December.  In addition to contributing to a number of recent EMAF student projects, Adam has been active as an assistant director on a number of feature films and commercials in the northwest (A Thousand Years of Good Prayers, The Golden Door) while also writing and directing his own independent short films.
  • Elizabeth A. Farriss (B.A. 2005) is Program Director of KEWU, Eastern's award-winning jazz radio station. In 2005, Jazz Week Magazine named Farriss Programmer of the Year and KEWU won Small Market Jazz Station of the year. Farriss was once again named Small Market Programmer of the Year for 2009 by Jazz Week magazine.
  • Russell Silva (B.A. 2005) is a daytime Production Assistant KHQ in Spokane. He is also working as a production assistant and camera operator with Spokane Sports Television on Gonzaga basketball and as an ILF Media Freelance production assistant.
  • Jeremy Lokken (B.A. 2004) has been active as an animator and as a production assistant at KHQ in Spokane.
  • Duane Ott (B.A. 2004) co-directed, Sean Puno (B.A. 2004) edited, and Ott, Puno, and Kris Boustedt (B.A. 2004) ran cameras for the music video "Say It Again" for Blue Flame Productions in Seattle.
  • Colleen Saddler (B.A. 2004) works at Corner Booth Productions, Inc. in Spokane. She recently won two silver ADDY awards: as producer of Free Throw and as producer of the entire Gonzaga commercial campaign, which included Free Throw, Jurassic JP, 100,000 Hrs., Bold and the Beautiful, Thanks Part A & B, and Trophy Dance. She also produced and wrote the Gonzaga commercial a Mallon. Saddler also edited two student profiles for Gonzaga's Imagine campaign and edited a promotional video for the Gonzaga Ethics Institute.
  • Theresa Braunstein (M.A. 2003, B.A. 2001) works in Portland as a freelance production assistant on a variety of projects, such as PSA's, films, commercials, and in-house productions.
  • Michael S. Duncan (B.A. 2003) runs his own business in Los Angeles working on commercials, music videos, and photo shoots as a set medic. Also on my off days I do craft services for commercials. He also finds time to play drums in a band "The Brook Lee Catastrophe" out of Long Beach, CA.  Before branching out on his own, Mike worked for Crossroads Films on films such as The Black Dahlia, where he worked as as Art Dept. Production Assistant with the award-winning art department that did Million Dollar Baby. He worked as a camera assistant on an independent film for Platform Entertainment. The Hard Easy.
  • Susannah Lowber (B.A. 2003) recently wrapped as Line Producer on the feature Frank. Lowber was Production Manager on two other features in 2006: Irwin Winkler's Home of the Brave starring Samuel L Jackson and Jessica Biel and Bruce Beresford's The Contract with John Cusack and Morgan Freeman. In addition, Lowber was Unit Production Manager on Lonely Hearts starring John Travolta, Selma Hayek, and James Gandolfini and Production Coordinator on End Game with Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Woods. Lowber also recently co-wrote The Choke, a feature film produced by North by Northwes and was Assistant Director for Mozart and the Whale, starring Josh Hartnett and Radha Mitchell.
  • Sean Gleaves (B.A. 2002) just finished principal photography on GPS, a feature film that he co-wrote and worked on as 2nd Assistant Director. Look for the suspense-thriller, shot on Sony HD and directed by Eric Colley (founder of Indieclub.com) come festival season.
  • Nyla Beck (B.A. 2001) has been active in Spokane-area radio and as an active contributor to organizations such as Toys For Tots and The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.
  • Denise Bennet (M.A. 2000, B.A. 1997) has accepted a tenure-track faculty position at the School of Journalism and Mass Media at the University of Idaho in Moscow.
  • Bryan Hagan (B.A. 2000) is Security Technician overseeing all electronic security at Providence Everett Medical Center in Everett, WA.
  • Todd Kenreck (B.A. 1999) is now an Editor/Producer at Fusion Entertainment in Portland, OR. Fusion is a Hi-Definition video production company for action sports, providing programming to over 140 countries and to networks such as NBC, ESPN, OLN, Spoke TV, MTV, AOL, and Fox Sports Network. Todd was formerly the Lead Video Editor at KHQ, where he worked in News for five years as a photojournalist, editor, graphic assistant, audio operator, technical director, promotion director, and production assistant.
  • Marcus McCollum (B.A. 1999) has won numerous awards as a director, including the 2 Pencils Award at the One Show in NY, Best in Show at Beldings International Advertising Awards, and Association of Independent Commercial Producer's Best Low Budget Comedy Campaign. In addition, Boards Magazine named McCollum of the top 25 new directors in Advertising, Showcase Cannes Film Festival listed him among its New Directors, and Shoot Magazine named him won of the Best New Directors. Over the past three years, McCollum has directed more than 60 major commercials. He has also done voice-over work as the Voice for Good Year Tires (2003), ESPN, Toyota, and as Bishop in the video game Kill Switch. McCollum also narrates "Addicted to Plastic Surgery" for Discover Channel and "A.W.E." for Outdoor Life Network on Thursday Nights.
  • Hiroto Alexander (B.A. 1998) works as a manager for Nintendo and is making his name is the gaming industry. 
  • Pedro Pineda (B.A. 1998) works as house editor for Aloha Films in Laguna Beach, CA. He just finished the feature-length documentary "Beyond Warped," about the Van's Warped Tour, which will air in January 2005 on the HD network. His current Aloha project is "Beyond Warped Live Music Series" a series of 26 half-hour shows that focus on particular bands. In addition to his work for Aloha, Pineda recently inked a deal with YUB.com to produce 3 national commercials that will air in the top 12 markets. Upcoming independent work for Pineda includes a feature doc about the surfer Jerry Lopez and a feature about Clark Gable's step-son Bunker Spreckles, a surfer who died of a drug overdose.
  • Brook Young (B.A. 1997) works in Seattle for ProVideo|Seattle, which provides litigation support for attorneys and court reporting firms by videotaping IME's, depositions, focus groups, and site surveys.
  • Tiff Farley (B.A. 1996) is pursuing a Master's degree in Education at Portland State University.
  • Kevin L. Wilkinson (B.A. 1995) works as Chief Audio Operator for KHQ-TV channel 6 in Spokane. I operate sound for live local nightly news casts, special programming and a 10pm news casts for KAYU Fox28. Wilkinson also runs audio for KHQ-produced Gonzaga basketball games that air on KHQ and Fox Sports Net.
  • Shannon Muir (B.A. 1994) works as Resource Manager for the virtual world/casual gaming site Neopets. She's also author of the book Gardner's Guide to Animation Writing and Production, released in 2007 by GGC Inc. Previously, she's worked in animation production at SD Entertainment for a PBS animated series, Nickelodeon and Sony Animation, and written for the Japanese animated series Midnight Horror School. Other entertainment-related experience includes Artists Television Group, The Writers Store, and a long-term temp assignment at NBC Universal Television. Shannon received an M.A. in Communications from California State University-Fullerton in 2005.
  • Piranha Pictures, the production company co-founded by Tracy Zimmerman (B.A. 1989), won the 2005 Emmy Award for Best Public Service TV spot. "Booze It Enforcement: Kick a Bear," the winner of this national award, can be viewed on their website through the link above.
  • Scott Templeton (B.A. 1988) has won three Telly Awards for his work as an executive producer for HGTV and Food TV. Templeton's long list of credits includes work producing, writing, directing, and editing television programming for a variety of networks, such as NBC, TLC, ABC, Lifetime, Fox, Discovery Channel, A & E, VH-1, and PAX. Templeton has also worked in similar roles for feature films and interactive media.
  • Tim Kelleher (B.A. 1986) was creator and executive producer of the UPN's "Rock Me Baby," writer/producer of the WB's "Off Centre," and co-executive producer of the WB's "Commando Nanny." He is currently pitching pilots during development season.
  • Scott Schaefer (B.A. 1985) has won three National Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing (Bill Nye, The Science Guy, PBS/Disney), as well as six Northwest Emmy Awards for Writing and Producing on KING-TV's "Almost Live!" Scott spent six years in Hollywood, where he worked for Fox, Paramount, ABC, CBS and many others. He now makes his home in Seattle, where he works as a Marketing Manager for Avue Technologies, as well as freelances as a Director/Writer for "Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t!", ESPN, Microsoft and other shows/companies. Scott recently directed several interview segments for the premiere episode of the third season of Penn & Teller's BS!.
