Theatre Angel Scholarship:
Each year, the EWU Theatre Program awards a limited number of tuition aid scholarships. These awards are for $1,000 and cover one academic year. The awards are paid into the student account as part tuition.
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

Audition and Angel Scholarship information can be found here. The deadline for applications is traditionally the second week of May during Spring Quarter.
Persons contributing to our scholarship program are considered Theatre Angels. Angels receive a pass good for two seats to all University Theatre productions. We are pleased that some corporations have matched employee donations to our scholarship fund. Donors can check with their employers about the possibility of matching contributions. We sincerely appreciate your donations to our Angel scholars. If you would like to become a Theatre Angel, contact the Theatre Director. Payroll deductions are available.
Eastern Washington University Scholarships and Assistantships
If you have a highschool GPA of 3.6 or above
You may apply to the Eastern Washington University Honors Program. Through this program, talented first year students may be elligible to recieve what is called an Assistantship. An Assistantship is guaranteed campus employment for a year, where up to $2,500 can be earned in their program or department of interest. It is similar to a workstudy award. Also by enrolling in the Honors Program most of your general education requirements are condensed into your first year which is a great advantage for busy theatre students. There are also many more scholarships available through the Honors Program so please visit the Honors Program Webpage or contact Mary Benham for more information:
General Scholarships are also available through EWU and an application can be found by visiting the Financial Aid page.
Other Sources of Financial Aid:
Grants, Workstudy, Tuition Discounts, non-EWU Scholarships, Loans, Local Employment
More information concerning these types of aid can be found at the Financial Aid page.
