Measures of Student Achievement
The Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) accredits university programs in North America leading to bachelor's and master's degrees in planning. The accreditation process is based on standards approved by the PAB and its sponsoring organizations: the American Planning Association (APA); the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) (the professional planners' institute within the American Planning Association); and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP).
As of January 1, 2013, PAB accredits 73 master's and 15 bachelor's programs at 77 North American Universities. Eastern Washington University is accredited under the Planning Accreditation Board for the Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and the Master of Urban and Regional Planning Programs (see PAB website).
Eastern Washington University takes pride in our applied focus in urban and regional planning at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This report is provided as a measure of student achievement and public information on our urban planning programs and to meet a requirement of the Planning Accreditation Board.
