Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene- Entry Level
For hygienists who choose to enter private dental practice, a bachelor's degree offers a broader educational base and a more secure foundation for everyday interaction with the public.
Pre-Admission to the class that begins in the fall of 2016
EWU Dental Hygiene is transitioning the 3 year quarter system bachelor of science in dental hygiene program to a 2 year semester system bachelor of science in dental hygiene program. Due to this change, there will NOT be a class beginning in the fall of 2015.

Eastern Washington University Dental Hygiene will be converting to a semester system beginning in the fall of 2016. Due to this change, we will not have a class that begins in the fall of 2015.
EWU will have pre-admissions for the class that begins in the fall of 2016 and graduates in spring 2018.
EWU will accept 20 students for pre-admission into the dental hygiene class that begins in the fall of 2016. Applications are available on the EWU Dental Hygiene "How to Apply to the Entry level Dental Hygiene Program" Webpage.
EWU will accept an additional 20 students, or as many necessary to have a full cohort of 40 students, in the dental hygiene class that begins in the fall of 2016.
