Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene- Entry Level
For hygienists who choose to enter private dental practice, a bachelor's degree offers a broader educational base and a more secure foundation for everyday interaction with the public.
Pre-Admission for the class beginning in the fall of 2016
Eastern Washington University Dental Hygiene is transitioning from a 3 year quarter system to a 2 year semester system. The degree earned will continue to be a bachelor of science in dental hygiene.
Due to this change, there will NOT be a class beginning in the fall of 2015.
Eastern Washington University will have pre-admissions for the class beginning in the fall of 2016. Twenty (20) applicants will be accepted for pre-admissions during the January 2nd-February 17th 2015 application cycle.
Applications are available on the EWU Dental Hygiene "How to Apply to the entry level Dental Hygiene Program" webpage.
Eastern Washington University will accept an additional 20 applicants, or as many necessary to have a full cohort of 40 students, in the dental hygiene class beginning in the fall of 2016.
