    Bob Stirling joined CWTAP in June, 2002.  He is a Field Instructor for the Spokane "one day Monday" part-time program and the Cheney full-time program.  His office is located in the Spokane DCFS office. He has students from the small towns of Colville, Colfax, Wenatchee, Clarkston, and Newport, WA.  Mr. Stirling has been a social worker throughout his professional career and has worked at Spokane Mental Health, Spokane County Head Start, and Division of Children and Family Services.  He has a long history in child welfare working in DCFS and with the Head Start program.  Mr. Stirling has also been a Peace Corps volunteer, a VISTA volunteer, and has worked with many non-profit organizations. 

    Mr. Stirling earned both his BA in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development, and his MSW from Eastern Washington University.  Go Eagles!  Mr. Stirling has a professional interest in developing engagement strategies for working with men and fathers in the Child Welfare system and making sure that fathers are included in service provision and case planning.  In his leisure time, Mr. Stirling enjoys spending time with his wife, and enjoying their two dogs, four cats and one horse.  Mr. Stirling likes to read about history and politics and collects old political buttons.
