What are high need schools?

High need schools are schools that have large numbers of low-achieving children as defined by the Federal Government's Title I program. This progam provides supplemental resources to meet the needs of low-achieving children in the highest-poverty schools and provide support to limited English proficient children, migratory children, children with disabilities, Indian children, neglected or delinquent children, and young children in need of reading assistance.
