Lesli Cleveland is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Disorders. She joined the department in January 2008.
Lesli earned a BA degree in English in 1992 from Emory University, in Atlanta, Ga. She completed her MA in 2000 at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge.
Lesli teaches courses in the areas of typical child language development, child language impairment, and child language development and communication disorders in multicultural populations.
Her research focuses on the morphosyntactic abilities of typically developing children and children with language impairment, child language development in the context of linguistic diversity, and literacy.
