Weissenborn Geology Scholarship
This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Al Weissenborn, a prominent geologist who was in charge of the U.S. Geological Survey office in the Spokane area from 1946 to 1973. Donations from former EWU students, faculty, the Weissenborn family, and friends from the geologic community have made this scholarship possible for geology seniors.
Rock Rollers Geology Scholarship
The Rock Rollers Club of Spokane awards scholarships to selected residents of the Inland Empire, either to help pay the fee required for Eastern's spring field camp course, or to provide tuition assistance.
Rennebohm Geology Scholarship
Bill and Betty Rennebohm have been providing scholarships to students in the geology, geography, urban planning and music disciplines for several years. These are awarded to lower-division students in geology.
Felix E. Mutschler Memorial Scholarship
We are in the process of building an endowment for this scholarship that was established in memory of a former faculty member who was a tremendous mentor for students pursuing a career in geology. These are for lower-division students early in their geology academic career. Check with the department to see if we are taking applications at this time.
