    Dr. Martin Meraz García is an Associate Professor of Chicano Studies. He holds a BA in Government from Eastern Washington University and a MA in Criminal Justice and PhD in Political Science from Washington State University. His research interests include the United States and Mexico relations with respect to the war on drugs, drug cartels, and revolution­ary movements in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Dr. Meráz García has presented his research in various regional, national and international conferences. He has also engaged in field research in Nicaragua as well as in various states in the Pacific Northwest including Washington and Oregon. His current publications include the Psychology and Recruitment Process of the Narco.
