  • Our Students participate in research projects with Faculty and Graduate Students in many fields of Biology, from environmental science to biotechnology and health science.
  • Our Students are exposed to cutting edge technology and scientific methods in small community environment; we provide forward thinking scientific expertise that you would associate with much larger institutions, while providing personal guidance and building lifelong professional relationships
  • Our Students engage in research and observation in our laboratories  and off campus research sites such as our facility located on Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge near the EWU campus; our close proximity and connection, to various  wildlife sites and clinical locations afford our students unique opportunities through class field trips, internships, and research grants.
  • Our students enjoy the benefits of an established, engaging,  student focused college campus while in close proximity to the City of Spokane giving students ample opportunity for internships, professional networking and job opportunities
