To protect your personal information in our system, it is STRONGLY recommended that you change your PIN after the initial login. You may choose any 6 numeric characters, in any sequence. Please make sure it is a number you will remember.

How to Change Your PIN
PIN: your Personal Identification Number.  This number is typically your date of birth, entered without dashes or spaces.  For example, 01/01/1981 would be entered 010181.  
What to do if you forget your PIN
  • Go in person to the Regristrar's Office, 201 Sutton Hall and show picture ID to get the PIN reset or
  • answer a series of personal information questions over the phone to verify your identity.  Call the Registrar's Office at 509-359-2321 for help.

    See our Security web page.  Never share your PIN or Student ID with anyone.

    When you are finished, log off the system and close the browser window.

What is my PIN?

Your PIN number is typically your date of birth, entered without dashes or spaces.  For example, 01/01/1981 would be entered 010181.

If you cannot log in, you may need to have your PIN reset.  Call 359-2321 or go to the Registrar's office Sutton Hall 2nd floor with your student ID to get a new PIN.

How do I change my PIN?
Log in with your Student ID and current PIN.  Click on Change PIN.  Make sure you use a six-digit number that you can't forget.
I forgot my PIN, how do I get a new PIN?
Your PIN is confidential and will not be released without proper identification which can be presented at the Registrar's office in Sutton Hall 2nd floor or call 359-2321.
How secure is my student information?
Information is encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet.  You must provide a unique Student ID and PIN before any personal information is accessed.  Data is encrypted before it is passed between the web server and the mainframe computer.  See How to Protect Your Student Information.
