Natatlie Kusz is the author of the memoir, Road Song. Her short nonfiction, poetry, and book reviews have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.
Ms. Kusz's work will be read by Marty Demarest on Friday night, April 16, at Showalter Hall in Cheney.
NATALIE KUSZ Natalie Kuszis the author of the memoir, Road Song,
published by Farrar Straus and Giroux. The book has also been released
in British, German and Chinese editions. Her short nonfiction, poetry,
and book reviews have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies,
including Harper's, McCall's, The Threepenny Review, Utne Reader, New York Times, and Best American Essays.
Her work has earned a Whiting Writer's Award, a Pushcart Prize, and
fellowships from Radcliffe College's Bunting Institute and the National
Endowment for the Arts. Prior to coming to Eastern Washington
University, she taught at Bethel College and was the Director of
Creative Writing at Harvard University.
