CHRISTOPHER HOWELL Christopher Howell is the author of seven collections of poems, including, most recently Just Waking. He has received grant awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the Massachusetts Council for the Arts. He is also recipient of the Washington State Governor's Award. His poems have been widely anthologized and have appeared in many journals, including Harper's, Hudson Review, The Iowa Review, Poetry Northwest, and The Gettysburg Review.
