This discussion by two publishing professionals will provide informed, in-depth information about negotiating the terrain of publishing serious books: what gets published, and how to approach the right publisher. Rachel Toor, former acquisition editor at Oxford University Press and Duke University Press, and Ivar Nelson, director of Eastern Washington University Press, will lead an informal conversation about their experiences in publishing and will invite questions from the audience.
