Trustees Meeting Time Changed
The Eastern Washington University Bord of Trustees meeting will take place on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. in Tawanka 215 B and C, not the originally planned date of Dec. 4, 2009.

Diversity Grant Submissions Being Taken
To the EWU Community of Faculty and Staff: NEW: For the current round of funding, Diversity Initiative Grant proposals, for projects that can be completed by Sept. 14, 2010, are being solicited. Proposals are due by Dec. 1, 2009. Because the university currently has "soft" freezes on hiring, travel, equipment, and outside contracts, proposals that honor those freezes will have enhanced opportunities for funding. Projects that support research in the area of diversity will receive special scrutiny. (Please note: proposals addressing priorities other than diversity or intending to distribute funds in the form of other grants will not be considered.)
For additional information on funding categories and instructions for submitting proposals, please visit the EWU Diversity Initiative Grant web site at: www.ewu.edu/x1904.xml or e-mail lharty@mail.ewu.edu
