EWU at Bellevue College

Eastern Washington University and Bellevue College (BC) have had a partnership for more than ten years to serve the BC student body and regional population with career advancement opportunities through high-quality baccalaureate degree programs.

Eastern at Bellevue College is on the BC campus, offering upper-division level courses that lead to five EWU Bachelor degrees.  

Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with Management Major  

This degree is offered through afternoon and evening-based instruction on the BC campus.  

EWU's College of Business and Public Administration is fully accredited through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-International (AACSB-International).  

General Business Option

Students interested in learning the basic theory and principles of business that are crucial to effective organizational performance and communications across business disciplines. The student has the opportunity to study management as applied to specific areas, including marketing finance, operations management, and management information systems.  

Human Resource Management Option

The human resource management option focuses on tools, techniques, and methods used to maximize satisfaction for both the employer and employee. This option applies human resource management to the human resources of the organization. Topics covered include: equal opportunities, safety and health, compensation, training and development, performance and appraisal motivation and job satisfaction and retirement.  

Bachelor of Arts in Children's Studies: Early Childhood   

In partnership with Bellevue College, Eastern Washington University's major in children's studies focuses primarily on early childhood education (ECE). Students will learn about the holistic development, learning and social issues of young children.  

Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Social and Behavioral Sciences   

Prior Learning Track   

The option is designed for the adult learner and based on the philosophy that adult learners have acquired university-level learning through career experiences. Prior learning track participants earn college credit by illustrating their experience with a portfolio that is evaluated by university faculty.  

Social Science Track  

This option is designed for students who are seeking a wide and varied curriculum that builds on a solid social and behavioral science foundation.   

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology  

A degree in psychology prepares students to competently and successfully pursue a wide variety of occupations. Our undergraduate program is designed to cover the essential areas of contemporary psychology.    

Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology  

This program is designed for students who have graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS). This degree enables students to continue their education by taking additional advanced technology courses, general education coursework, and supporting courses to complete a bachelor of science degree.
