Aquatic Center History
The EWU Aquatic Center was completed in October of 1980 and was the fifth and final phase of the Sports and Recreation Center. Featuring an L shaped design, the pool measures 25 meters North to South with eight lanes and 25 Yards East to West with six lanes. The pool holds about 285,000 gallons of water and features an 18 foot diving tank which is one of the deepest in the Pacific Northwest. This past summer (2013) & fall, new diving towers were installed to complement our excellent diving boards.
Rental Times Available on weekends & after Open Swim.
Rental prices are $85/hr for the entire pool, or $10.63 per hour per lane. The upstairs MP room is available during open swims for no charge. Lifeguards are $15/hour per guard. Two guards are the minimum, for a group of less than 20 people. 21-50 people = 3 guards.
