Emergency Housing Offered

Published: November 20, 2015

CHENEY, Wash. -Eastern Washington University's Housing and Residential Life is offering emergency housing to off campus EWU students impacted by the recent wind storm who are still without electricity.

Those students may request emergency housing on campus by contacting the Housing and Residential Life Office at 509.359.2451.

Emergency housing is available for students only (no children and non-students) on a first-come, first-served, double-occupancy basis. There will be a minimal $15 per night charge for up to five days, which will be applied to the student's account.

The university cannot use state resources to offer free housing, but the reduced rate is being offered with dollars from student emergency fund donations.
