Auden Rosas

Audel Rosas is currently an undergraduate student at Eastern Washington University (EWU), majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Socio-Economics. He is interested in understanding the impact of globalization on the identity of citizens of nation-state's, geopolitics, and learning a wide array of languages. More specifically, his research varies through topics of international students, the international system of the oil market, and U.S. domestic and foreign policies. 

Rosas aims to create an understanding through participatory scholarship. He is currently applying to the Japanese English Teaching (JET) Program and Flagships in Korea and China to start creating a foundation of East-Asian languages as these countries will play a key global role in the future. Rosas is currently a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate scholar researching the cross-cultural living experience of international studies within the classroom and outside the classroom at EWU to find how the living experiences of these students shape their social and personal identity, while also working as a peer advisor in the financial aid office and is a volunteer math tutor for the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).
