CURRENT EMPLOYER: Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS)
CURRENT POSITION: Subcontracts Technical Representative (STR)

  1. Why did you want to join the EWUAA Board? I feel that EWU has great opportunities and is a great place to go to college. The education and experiences I had there helped me succeed as I started in my career.  I wanted to share my enthusiasm with others and give back to the university.
  2. How did you Eastern prepare you for the work you do now? The experiences at EWU gave me the ability to think critically.  My degree was in Labor Relations but I work in government contracting.  The program taught me a lot about contracts and thinking critically in reading contracts.
  3. Rosa’s cheesy bread or Eagle Punch? DEFINITELY Rosa’s cheesy bread.  I was cleaning out some old boxes of storage recently and discovered ‘Rosa’s Pizza’ dollars, about 30 of them.
  4. What was your favorite part of your time at Eastern? Our oldest child was born while we were attending EWU.  We would arrange our classes to swap the baby on campus, give a quick update on feeding and diaper status, then run off to the next class.
  5. What is your favorite thing about Eastern today? Seeing how the campus and programs offered by the university have continued to grow.  It’s exciting to see more buildings go up and keep up on different programs that are offered at EWU.
