Conner Irvin `19
DEGREE: BA in Business Management, Minor in Business Analytics
CURRENT POSITION: Project Coordinator at ENGIE Impact
- Why did you want to join the YPN Board? I wanted to be a part of an organization that helps other young professionals, like myself, achieve their career goals and helps them network in the community. I love the events that I attended as a student and it drove me to apply for the board.
- How did you land in your current position? I was originally going to go for my MBA full-time but saw a post about Engie hiring in the Spokane area. It intrigued me so I went to a hiring even in town. I joined the company as a Project Specialist after the event and spent about a year in that role. The opportunity for me to become a Project Coordinator came up with my team, and I took it.
- What is the best piece of career advice you ever received? I like to follow a quote by Warren Buffet; “Without passion, you don’t have energy. Without energy, you have nothing.”
- What is your favorite local hangout? My favorite local hangout is No-Li Brewhouse
