CSS Associate Dean Announcement
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we announce that Vernon Loke, PhD has agreed to serve as Associate Dean for the College of Social Sciences. He will begin in this position December 16, 2018. Loke joined Eastern Washington University in 2009 after finishing his PhD in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis. Loke is a highly accomplished scholar and very participatory in committees, such as the College Personnel Committee. He has been innovative with curriculum and engaging with the community. Involving his students in real-world projects with impacts on social service programs and legislative issues has resulted in positive ripples in organizations such as United Way of Spokane County and Arc of Spokane.
