Gender, Women\u2019s & Sexuality Studies provides you with the skills to critically and actively engage with the world. In this interdisciplinary field, you will integrate theory and practice to transform social relations, representations, knowledge, institutions, and policies. It uses gender, along with race and class, as categories of analysis, enabling you to explore the roles that gender and sexuality play in history, literature, art, politics, education, sports, health, and family. The integrated BA degree program includes courses from various disciplines across five different colleges, offering a strong foundation in the humanities and social sciences.<\/p>\n
Our courses provide deeper insights into issues of oppression and raise awareness of sexism, racism, and other biases. Our faculty will teach you to expand your way of thinking, broaden your perspective, analyze complex material, build persuasive arguments, and understand how gender dynamics influence the business environment, as well as cultural, emotional, familial, institutional, and political contexts.<\/p>\n
