From Ballet Folkl\u00f3rico de Aztl\u00e1n to Mariachi Las \u00c1guilas to M.E.Ch.A., there are many clubs and organizations where Chicana\/o\/x students can get involved. These student-led groups offer more than extracurricular activities\u2014they provide spaces to celebrate cultural identity, form lasting friendships, and make meaningful contributions through performances and events.<\/p>\n
Students can also engage with the Chicana\/o\/x Studies department and the vibrant community. We aim to inspire students to pursue higher education through outreach initiatives at high schools, community colleges, and career fairs, as well as by partnering with local organizations. On campus, we host events that bring students together to honor Latinx culture and share traditions.<\/p>\n
Through involvement and connection, students not only celebrate their culture but also shape the future of our campus and region.<\/p>\n
