50 Years of Smiles

Please join us in celebrating five decades of excellence and service to the community at an open house that includes tours, special guest speakers, refreshments and a chance to enter your name to win prizes.   Over the years, our program has proudly educated generations of dental hygiene professionals while operating a clinic that provides quality care for less-advantaged residents of our community. The program’s success wouldn’t be possible without the support of our alumni, community partners and friends!

Location: EWU Dental Hygiene Clinic, Health Science Building
310 N. Riverpoint Blvd., Spokane, WA 99202

Support the Dental Hygiene Department

“I’ve worked hard and succeeded. Now it’s time to give back to a profession that I love – and to make a difference for future dental hygienists,”
–Diane McHenry

McHenry, helped establish the EWU Department of Dental Hygiene and is now retired, created the scholarship to support single parents who face financial obstacles while pursuing degrees and careers as dental hygienists as the means to a brighter future for their families. The fund helps with tuition and program incidentals, such as laptops, dental instruments, uniforms and board exam testing fees for state certification.
