The EWU BSN program accepts a 40-seat cohort in both the fall and spring semesters. The BSN program requires four years of full-time study. The first two years focus on a broad spectrum of courses, including; core (BACR) requirements and nursing pre-requisite courses that prepare students for upper-division nursing courses. The final two years (four semesters) of nursing courses are on the Spokane campus, inside the\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spokanehealthpeninsula.com\/sierrbuilding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">SIERR Building<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, where students engage in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nursing students start with courses in biology, chemistry, psychology, human development, statistics, and nutrition.
